Productivity Hardware

LetinAR

TL;DR

They are building tiny, mass-producible lenses to make AI glasses look like actual eyewear instead of bulky lab equipment.

Who is this actually for?

Hardware manufacturers and big tech giants looking to shrink their AR glasses footprint.

The Good

  • The pin-mirror tech is way easier to scale than the expensive waveguide tech everyone else is struggling with.
  • Shrinking optics to the size of a thumbnail is the only way we get people to wear these in public.

The Catch (Potential Downsides)

Expect some trade-offs in field of view or brightness compared to the heavy-duty rigs. Also, hardware is a brutal, low-margin grind unless you get acquired early.
